    Club Play & Court Schedule

As we are all getting back into the swing of things, it’s worth revisiting the current schedule to make sure you are not missing out on any organised activities. The website has been updated to highlight the changes http://www.bathtc.co.uk/book-court/, with a copy of the current Spring/Summer program attached to this communication.

It is worth noting that the club’s main social club play sessions are as follows:

    Monday 6-8.00pm – Team practice Men’s & Ladies

Wednesday 6-8.00pm – Organised Social Mixed Doubles

    Men’s & Ladies League Tennis

The club has successfully put forward and can cater for 4 Men’s teams and 3 Ladies Teams to do battle in the Avon Sumner Tennis Leagues, with the first matches set of Friday 7th May. Those who are interested in playing should try to attend the Monday night team practice from 6-8pm or contact Andrew and let him know your keen to play.

    New Members Orientation Evening

The club is particularly pleased to announce a very positive uptake on new memberships. With this in mind, we would like to invite all new members to an orientational evening of tennis and getting to meet the team. The scheduled date for this will be Friday 30th April from 7.00pm. Please do make the effort to come along to help share our knowledge and understanding of the club and how to get the most out of it. You’ll also get the opportunity to meet other new and existing members.

    Singles Tennis Ladder

Later in the week you will be invited to sign up to the club’s new singles tennis ladder. Look out for the update so you can get ready for the official launch on Monday 10th May.

    Fitness & Wellness

‘Train – Move – Win’. Whether you are a social club player or competitive club player the club’s new fitness and wellness mantra is a good fit for all. Whatever your tennis level, it feels good to move well and win points!

To help you on your way, Simon is offering a personalised induction session to club members at the very special rate of £10. To book, call or email Simon on 07753 451922 or simonvibefit@gmail.com (www.vibefitnessbath.co.uk).

    Reminder – Club security

This is a general reminder to all members and visitors. Should you find that you are about to leave the club with no one else present, can you please lock the clubhouse on your way out. If you don’t have a key, please call Andrew on 07823 321 993 who will direct you to the keysafe to access an emergency key. Also, after 6pm in the evening, if you are the last to leave the club, can we ask that in addition to the clubhouse, you turn off the floodlights, (boxes located in clubhouse by main door, key in switch), and proceed to close the entrance gate and apply the keylock chain (code 32093). Your diligence with this is an important aspect of the shared responsibility of our community amateur sports club. Thank you for your support with this.

Keep safe and well and enjoy your tennis!
