Bath Tennis Club is pleased to share with you the weekly ACTUAL tennis, remote tennis, workout and social schedule. We encourage you all to join in and support your club and coaches. Most importantly we want you to enjoy the interaction and help keep our tennis community strong!
Great News – Resumption of Tennis from Thursday 14/05/2020
Further to the government’s Sunday night announcement, we would like to inform our community and members that tennis is set to resume at the club from this Thursday onwards. (We will be using Wednesday to trial our booking system).
As of this Monday morning, we have yet to receive the detailed LTA guidance for the resumption of tennis, though we can advise that play can take place between members of the same household.
Working within the framework of creating a safe space, with appropriate social distancing considerations set in place, we propose to open court 1,3,5 and 6. Initially courts will be available for those to play from the same household. We will be updating members with clear guidelines for booking courts by no later than Tuesday evening. Initially, we envisage that bookings will be restricted to one-hour time slots with 30-minute gaps between each booking, so that there is no waiting around and resulting issues with maintaining safe and appropriate distancing, allowing all our members to find an opportunity to play.

Wednesday’s Tennis Challenge
Every Wednesday we will be challenging our tennis community to a tennis trivia question and skill challenge. The question and challenge will be set by 11:00am on our Facebook page and entries will close by 7:00pm the following day.
